Roberto, Paul and the kids arrived back at 8.30pm totally exhausted and ready for pasta with meat sauce (or cheese for some of the little boys), garlic bread and strawberries and ice-cream. Boys were asleep by 9.30pm and girls 10.30pm. As the first race is not due to start until 2pm tomorrow Roberto has decided to do the de-briefing in the hotel at 9am then get to the venue for noon. The wind does not arrive until 2pm and Roberto has been discussing "thermals" at great length.
Apologies for missing Jillian off the results she is lying 55 and Benj seems to have been adopted by Amy and Mark as he is listed as Benj Turner (lucky them...................) The registration lady did look somewhat over whelmed when I did 9 of them together.
As Roberto hasn't done the de-briefing it is hard to gauge how he feels they are doing and they were so hungry and tried nobody really mentioned the races much. Then they were asleep.
Looks like more of the same tomorrow!
I will try and get some photos to you - today was spent sorting them all out to get "racing ready" buying stuff that was missing etc.
Cameron bought himself a nice new red like jacket!! and they all got a regatta t-shirt.
congratulations to the Turner's on the addition of Benjamin to the Turner family
