Day 3 Recap:
The kids sailed 4 good races. There were good winds 10-20. Forecast is for 4 mph of wind Sunday (yuck). Probably just one or two races (maybe none ) will be sailed on Sunday, our last day. Check out the website for race results: https://sites.google.com/site/optinationals2011/results/results
Kids enjoyed watermelon, pretzels and carrots while derigging, took showers, checked out their results and then headed back to the hotel. We told everyone to start packing last night so more dirty laundry started coming out of the woodwork, and more this morning from one little sailor (Yippee!).
We cooked Steak and Salmon on the grill for the last night celebration at the TOWNPLACE SUITES (the concierege was nowhere to be found for a dining recommendation). Believe it or not, we had three sailor requests for salmon! I'll leave it to you to ask your son or daughter what they chose. We used the left over steak this morning for 'steak and eggs'. All was eaten up!
All kids motivated to drink two bottles before racing this morning as "Candy Talks!"
Roberto held the debriefing, and now getting ready to head for the club. Stay tuned for more....
- Houston out
my guess was Benjamin was the one with the laundry and one of the ones that asked for salmon!
